Leicester City 4 Millwall 2

Saturday, January 22nd, 2011

Leicester City came out on top after a pulsating clash with Millwall at the Walkers Stadium.

Defender Sol Bamba scored twice, and Yakubu and Lloyd Dyer were also on the mark as City ended the Lions’ nine game unbeaten run.

Steve Morison missed a penalty for Millwall after just two minutes, but a superb strike from James Henry and a second half penalty from Jack Smith made sure City didn’t have it all their own way.

The visitors also had new signing Jens Berthel Askou sent off for a two-footed tackle on Yakubu.
